What is the benefit of completing the Beginner Driver Education Course?

Completing a BDE course allows you to go to your G2 in 8 months from the time you got your G1 instead of waiting the full one year.

Is your school approved by the Ministry of Transportation (MTO)?

Yes, our school is a Ministry Approved BDE Course Provider.

Can I start the course without my G1?

You can start the course without your G1, however you must obtain your G1 within a few weeks of completing the course. You will not be able to begin your in car lessons without the G1.

Can I join a course at any time?

Yes, you can join the course during any of our pre scheduled course dates. However,  you need to ensure that you complete all the correct days of classes as they are divided up into sections. Please communicate with our office as to what days you would like to come in so you complete everything correctly and within the right time frame.

How long do I have to complete a course?

The MTO allows students 1 year to complete the course from the first day of class. Beyond one year students forfeit the online certification process.

Will I need more than 10 hours of in-car lessons?

Our instructors book your lessons in such a way that you’re able to practice between each session outside of the 10 hours. Each individual is different when it comes to how much time in needed in the car. We stress to our students that practice makes perfect,  so the time between lessons will be key in your development. Should you require additional lessons beyond the 10 hours we do offer packages and individual sessions.

Do you offer payment plans and how can I pay for the course?

We offer flexible payment plans that can be prearranged with the office directly. The deposits at the time of registration vary depending on the package you request. We accept payment by Cash, Cheque, Credit and Debit.

How do I book my in car lessons?

Once you’ve completed the in class training you will assign you in car instructor and given their information to book lessons with them. If you require the in car lessons prior to taking the classroom training you may contact our office to register and set up the lessons.

When will I get my certificate?

Once you have completed all components of the course we will process your certification with the Ministry of Transportation. The time frame is usually 1 week to complete everything. Once you have confirmed online or by calling the office that you’re certified you will have to go directly into a Service Ontario office and request a copy of your Driver’s License History. This is $12 and what is required as your certificate.

Why don’t you provide me with a certificate?

In 2008 the Ministry of Transportation made the change to have students obtain their Driver’s License History from Service Ontario. Driving Schools no longer receive copies of certificate and certificate numbers.

Where do I go to book my Road test?

You can visit www.drivetest.ca or call 1.888.570.6110. If you’d like you can call our office directly and we can assist you in booking your test as well.
